GIGO 03:35
I was walkin' around the other day I met a man, and he said hey I like your style I like your smile Tell me do you have a while? I said sure old man we can sit and talk I've got nowhere to go, just out for a walk He turned to me and with a stare Said that's a problem, you should be aware Garbage in garbage out Is what you get When you tend to just barely exist And treat life as though it's one big bore Garbage in garbage out You get what you ask for That kind of hit me all at once He repeated again, but still I was lost I said hey old man, do you know what it means? And what the heck, I've got me some dreams I'm all tied up ah presently But there's tomorrow, I'll find those dreams He just looked at me and shook his head Then once again those words he said Garbage in garbage out Is what you get When you tend to just barely exist And treat life as though it's one big bore Garbage in garbage out You get what you ask for I started to laugh, but he didn't blink He was serious, I was curious Couldn't figure it out, it didn't make sense Some foreign talk some strange language Then I said to him, hey who are you? To talk that way to me today I'm in a hurry I've got to go I'm meeting a friend at the picture show He stood up and walked away Didn't even say good day I watched him stop another lamb That crazy guy, that crazy old man Too bad for him he is so old He'll probably die in a month or so But hey I'm alive, I've got the time I've got nowhere to go and I'm feelin' fine Garbage in garbage out Is what you get When you tend to, just barely exist And treat life as though it's one big bore Garbage in garbage out You get what you ask for

Forget You 03:21
You used to be my friend We used to pal around We were inseparable Nothing could break us down It's different now I don't know what went wrong? Forget you We were just kids back then With futures clear and bright There never was a doubt That life would turn out right It's different now I guess we grew apart Forget you You met Sir Lancelot The wedding came and went You said I'd be best man No card was ever sent It's different now You don't return my calls Forget you Time just keeps movin' on But memories never die I wish I could forget The days of you and I It's different now Why should I even care? Forget you Forget you Forget you Forget you Forget you

Fly Away 04:32
I see it in your eyes I know it when you smile I hear it when you speak I feel it when you breathe Away we'll fly 'Till the end of time And everyone will see This love you have for me Hold my hand, the time is right We'll say our vows and then tonight Together we can touch the sky Let's fly away You see it in my eyes You know it when I smile You hear it when I speak You feel it when I breathe Away we'll fly 'Till the end of time And everyone will see The love you are to me Hold my hand, the time is right We'll say our vows and then tonight Together we can touch the sky Let's fly away

In a dream I hope to find Just what happened to my mind Deep down dark and deadly sin Took me where I'd never been I'm trapped inside a maze of time I never hear a church bell chime My ring's gone from her hand She turned me into sand Hot winds in this desert blow I ask the Lord to let me go Alone in cactus land She turned me into sand Shooting stars no longer care Senseless acts beyond repair Lovers leave and love is lost Nothing left to pay the cost I'm trapped inside a maze of time I never hear a church bell chime My ring's gone from her hand She turned me into sand Hot winds in this desert blow I ask the Lord to let me go Alone in cactus land She turned me into sand Pain respects me, gun for hire Take me to the lake of fire Right the wrong, revolver rings Fallen angel, broken wings I'm trapped inside a maze of time I never hear a church bell chime My ring's gone from her hand She turned me into sand Hot winds in this desert blow I ask the Lord to let me go Alone in cactus land She turned me into sand This soul forever cries Because sand never dies

about

After a long period of not writing or recording, in 2001 music started flowing through my head again. I had sold all my music equipment many years earlier, so I decided to buy a stand-alone digital recorder and a synthesizer to start the process of writing and recording again.

Between the years of 2002 and 2004 I wrote almost 50 songs. While most of those songs were completed songs, not all of them were completed recordings. Some of the recorded songs had abrupt endings or no endings, were too long, or had various performance mistakes.

I transferred those incomplete songs to three CDs and wrote on each CD "Song Ideas", hoping to come back and finish them at some future date.

In 2014 I finally did finish a few of them. Here are 12 personal favorites from that period in my life.
